Cards and the Compendium
Cards are the shared presentation surface for realm objects. The Compendium is the general discovery surface, and the shell-owned inspector is the one detail overlay.
Distinctions that matter
| Surface | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Card | Shared presentation of a realm object. |
| Compendium | Discovery and memory; not proof of ownership. |
| Deck | A deliberate ordered collection of Cards. |
| Inventory | Custody of item instances. |
| Card Inspector | The single shell-owned detail overlay. |
Browse and inspect
- Open the Compendium.
- Search by title, slug, type, or safe descriptive fields.
- Open a result in the shared inspector.
- Follow the Card's declared route when a full operational surface exists.
- Treat status and visibility labels as lifecycle information, not authority grants.
Try the shared inspector with the public . The Manual supplies only the stable Card ID; the existing shell inspector owns the detail experience.
For the experimental custody model, administrators may consult Cards, Collections, and Custody.
