Privacy

Clear information about your first contact.

This notice describes the website's current inquiry workflow. It is not a substitute for the privacy and consent documents used if a therapist-client relationship begins.

Information the website collects

The inquiry form collects the name, email address, optional phone number, contact preference, topic, and message that a visitor chooses to provide. Basic technical information is converted to one-way hashes for abuse prevention and security auditing.

How inquiry information is protected

Contact fields and messages are encrypted before database storage. Access is limited to an authenticated practitioner inbox. Website sessions use anti-forgery tokens, restricted cookies, throttling, and automated-submission checks.

How information is used

Inquiry information is used to review the request, respond using the contact method provided, consider whether Pivot may be a fit, and maintain the security of the website. It is not used for advertising.

What not to send

Keep an initial message brief. Do not send diagnoses, medication lists, identity documents, detailed clinical records, or urgent crisis information. The website and inbox are not monitored continuously and are not emergency services.

Tracking and third parties

The current website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, social-media pixels, third-party embeds, or file uploads. If an external scheduling link is enabled later, that service will have its own privacy practices.

Relationship to therapy records

Sending an inquiry does not establish a therapist-client relationship. If services begin, separate consent, privacy, communication, recordkeeping, and practice policies will apply.
